Classic kids being kids
chimchim666
honestly, unpopular opinion, but the kid's reaction annoys me, i don't think it's cute
Faerunner
That's because if an adult reacted like that it wouldn't be cute. You'd KNOW they were psycho.
JizanthapusSmiggles
You think being startled by a loved one and enjoying that moment or laughing about it is psychopathic?
No, I think the sly "I'm going to laugh/grin and escape consequences!" is psychopathic.
xxjabberwocky
I think the kid was coming off of being really startled & then started smiling sheepishly when the scare wore off. Not to get out of trouble
Hmm. Sounds exaggerated.

Dad caught me sneaking ice cream once, gave him that grin. He grabbed a second spoon and said "If Mom asks, I was sleepwalking."
My dad always yelled at us for doing this but when his grandchildren (my nieces) did it he’d join them for midnight munchies.
Hell, not his kids :p
Lol true, plus he eventually learned to hide his food from us...especially me. I was a bloodhound when it came to sniffing out candy bars.
LooseSeall
Me with popcorn. Could’ve made it hours before I got home from Pre-K but I still knew.
