So you may remember this post from a few weeks ago

From it, came this comment chain

I had never had something like this happen before. But then, I got a message from him and all of a sudden I was giving my address to a stranger on the internet!

This came in the mail today!

Bomb? Anthrax?

Nope, none of those things!

Well, well what do we have here?!

Sweet and salty

Neither of us were sure if I could get these in Canada so they were sent for good measure.

A little taste of the south

I had tried grits when I visited the Bahamas a few years ago and loved them! So glad they were included!

'Murican TicTacs

Orange TicTacs are white in Canada. When he asked what else I wanted sent up, this was the only thing I could think of.

Mmmm, cookies!

This was the whole point of this package. They melted a little in the mail but are delicious! They taste a bit like the peanut butter mice cookies that my Mom makes around Christmas.

Awe, art!

Thanks again, @EatSleepPoopRepeat. This came just in time for my exam stress days! :)

Sometimes, people make me happy.

I can confirm they are delicious; I am one of OP's roommates.

Just realized that usernames don't tag in descriptions, so thanks again @EatSleepPoopRepeat. The kindness of strangers is the best kind :)

OP, send him Jam-Jams and Purity candies in return! Also, we've got girl scout cookies in CB, but no Tagalongs.

I'm curious about the "peanut butter mice" cookies...

We call them mice, even though they are "balls." "Mice" is much cooler. http://www.ricekrispies.com/recipes/chocolate-peanut-butter-balls

He's this happy over Tagalongs. Wait until he tries Thin Mints!

So glad you safety received the care package! Everyone should experience Tagalongs, dammit.

I feel like we should be sharing our region's food with everyone else around the world brave enough to give their addresses to strangers.

*Whispers* We have Tic Tac's here in Canada already.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yes. But (if you read the comment) orange TicTacs are white here. In Newfoundland they are at least. :P

Orange are Orange here. Last I checked anyways. Now I'll have to go buy some Tic Tac's.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They're orange here in Nova Scotia. Now I'm gonna be checking out the tic tac's next time I go to Newfoundland.

Weird. In NL the box is orange and the TicTacs are white!
