Or maybe the actual implementation and results are innovative and you're just oversimplifying. I'll reserve judgement in the meantime.
I highly doubt that it can be more innovative than it is now, we have fading between models, which is expensive because both models(1/?)
have to be rendered to fade but it is smoother, Crysis has this. And then you have the common pop-in-out system.(2/2)
