Finished product first! I make pants for myself and my family. My husband had a Beetlejuice patch and wanted some black and green pants to put it on.
I'm thinking about branching out and making bespoke pants for people wanting something unique.

Those are super fun, love them.

I would have rocked these SO hard in 1999!
SlytlyDerangd
I'm both fascinated and impressed
Soberyn
I worked at Hot Topic in 2006 and these would have fit right in! They're making a come back. Honestly, the baggy pants are comfy af. I'm seeing teens wearing them again

The 90s really ARE making a comeback

OSHA compliant Hi-Vis safety JNCOs. I... I want.
BlightPanda
Imma need these with hot pink stitching asap.
INeverWaitForIt
Fashion is cyclical. Mom jeans came back, so we should be seeing jincos coming back any year.
DwayneTheCrackJohnson
The nineties called, they wanted you to know you're doing the Lord's work

Yes! The Mammoth Jnco jeans are back! Finally, a '90s style I can get behind.
Darksnider05
You've made yourself a kingly set of pants.

SleepyHollowAppleTree
Yes please.

Thank you! I am dying for loose leg, loose fit jeans. I am so tired of having to buy jeans that hold tight around my legs just because someone decided that is what is in style. I want massive legs that drag. We have to bring back the 90s jean. I like this one.
2graves
? 90s jeans are everywhere now. Try target
Anaphriel
This is so much better than the high cost low quality crap they're peddling nowadays.

Best show ever.

I was waiting for JNCO to come back. It's happening, guys!

nice work (i hate crackerjack pockets, but you do you) keep it up!
PFMAz
A friend of mine doesn't know what cracker Jack pockets are.
mindnumbingbraincandy
I think it's big enough to fit a box of crackerjacks. The pants have very large rectangle pockets
I love the term. I've been making dresses and they get jumbo pockets, like four per dress
SirSnickleFritz
But you can fit sooo many books in there
LeVentNoir
What pattern would you recommend for someone who would like to make their own jeans that are more relaxed through the seat and thigh than box store trousers?
LateNightBunnyParty
I'm not sure, because I don't use pre-made patterns. I would recommend doing the measurements and creating a pattern yourself to have them fit you the way you want. I used measurements from a favorite pair of pants to create kind of a master pattern and can alter it as needed, scaling the size up or down, widening Mr narrowing the legs, etc. I've been sewing since I was 7, though.

A lint roller will help you pick up all those stray threads that seem to appear from nowhere any time you handle raw fabric.
LateNightBunnyParty
I've got one, but the cats shed faster than I can roll, lol.
Grinningatdoom
I just knew it was cats!
SweatyNuts
Pretty sweet. Can you fit a discman in the back pocket?
J4nein4ne
Probably more than one, by the looks of it...
BeneGesseritConspiracyTheorist
If you do, invest in the one with anti-skip.
LateNightBunnyParty
You bet your ass you can. You could probably fit a whole DVD player.
SweatyNuts
That's what's really important. Keep up the good work.
unremarkableasterisk
I wear pants.

He who controls the pants controls the galaxy!

I also engage in the same type of behavior; albeit, against my will.

Oh, my favorite color combination in snazzy looking pants.

It’s funny that this style came in in the late 90s early 2000s? In the mid 70s, we wore extra long jeans, snug on the thighs, either bootleg or flared, and liked them long enough where you can never see your socks and they dragged on the ground and got frayed. It was the total opposite of high waters. Our parents hated it.
AntiProtonBoy
This was more of a raver thing 25 years ago (phat pants). Normies wore flared jeans similar to 70s settle but not the extent of phat pants. It’s coming back again, same with cargo pants.
FredGarvinMaleProstitute
are you a time traveler from planet JNCO ?

Somehow JNCOs returned

FINALLY! I haven't had a pocket big enough for my Diskman sense like 2006!

No one, that requires social interaction

The pockets you can hide a box of cereal in were a dead giveaway
BlueRonfar
Box of cereal is too small, gimme a pocket that will hold the biggest plastic bag of malt-o-meal brand
ExquisiteConundrum
The two liter sized pockets.
DataBeardFace
I'll assume you intended to make JNCOs
LateNightBunnyParty
Actually, I based the pattern years ago on a pair of Tripps, but all anyone thinks of when they see wide legged pants is JNCOs, lol.
superduperyooperthatspissedoff
Well they are awesome, thanks for sharing!
DataBeardFace
Well Tripps were covered in chains and junk as I recall.
LateNightBunnyParty
Yeah, that was just the superfluous stuff though. I'm talking about the actual shape of the pants. I took a pair apart, traced it onto some scrap fabric, and voila.
starkeclipse
I loved JNCOs and would gladly welcome big pants back.
