Speaking of murders. When a murder of crows converged on my front yard yesterday morning setting off my driveway alarm repeatedly and waking me up at 9am I loaded up the 10/22 and murdered 3 of them before they got the message and buggered off.Went back to bed and slept like a baby until the more respectable hour of noon.

Meanwhile she is allowing a monstrous data centre is to be built near the capitol, Edmonton, that will consume as much energy as our 2nd largest city, Calgary, and be powered by a huge array of natural gas burning turbines sometime within a couple years of the centre beginning operation.It is proposed to de-mothball coal-fired electric plants to supply the extra power needed in the interim.Extra expenses will of course be added to our already huge bills. Over 35¢/kwh for me already. :(
Here in Alberta where we have an oil and gas loving She-tRump in charge they have made it virtually impossible to set up windfarms anywhere useful.One of the big reasons being that they look unsightly as if a horizon dotted with pumpjacks and 40ft tall storage tanks will pretty up the view. Areas where windfarms are allowed are so far from the population centres they are meant to serve that 100s of kms transmission lines would need to be built further degrading the environment and views. 1 of
The sheets still get moist so leaving the covers open for at least a couple hours after getting up lets them dry and cuts down a lot on dust mites which need our moisture to breed.
Our cave has central heating so even in winter it's warm inside.

Very healthy plants. The young leaves are great in salads and the roots contain powerful antioxidants and cancer prevention/curing properties. I have a jar full of seeds I collected last year to plant some in the looser soil of our garden as they are hard to pull out of the clay soil on the rest of our little acreage.I'll plant them among the 400 or so opium poppies the wife has started under lights for me. Looking forward to decent pain meds since the doc won't give me demerol any more.
I wouldn't call the dextroamphetamine I take for my ADHD meth. Back in the late 60s we had the real deal. Methamphetamine aka crystal meth aka speed.

It's just that tRump is so stupid he thinks all of us are as stupid as his base and will fall for these obvious ploys.The lame-stream media thinks the same and are just as stupid as him. Making a big deal about lack of security when the guy entered at a place open to the public with just very basic security 2 floors up and not full security he would have had to pass thru to get to tRump.
Our fridge is almost as old as that one and our kitchen is set up the same way except on the other side of the fridge so ours opens the right way for better flow. Same little narrow counter with 4 drawers between the fridge and stove where our BUNN coffee maker lives.The big chest freezer in the mudroom was here when we bought the place 23 years ago and was old then. Still works fine. Will not buy 'smart' appliances!
That's totally wrong. Could easily put a quarter million miles on a car before it needed a valve job if even then. At least you could do it yourself if you were handy and had the basic tools for the job. Might have to adjust the valve tappets here and there if one got noisy but that was an hour tops and could be done with a screwdriver, crescent wrench and a feeler gauge. New valve cover gaskets recommended but not a 'must have' item.
It's ultra-processed corn and the corn oil is extracted with hexane so they both count as chemical garbage and should be avoided by anyone wishing to stay healthy.
Pretty sure that was Pringles due to it's higher flammable garbage ratio but Doritos probably work too. Plenty of flammable garbage in them as well.
