My user name comes from the first story I ever completed writing. It was a fantasy novel set in a world similar to feudal Japan. Since then I evolved to science fiction and try to complete a series of six books, one of which is already available for Amazon Kindle. Look for Ctoa, if you're interested. But be warned, as of now I only published it in my native language, which is German. And I'm kind of procrastinating the completion of the second book. So, why am I telling you lot about it? Maybe to create some additional pressure to translate and/or complete it.

inally, he can get the Darwin Award

I got that reference. Downvoters need to watch Firefly. +1

That was the best part of the mess, though

Thank you very much! Appreciate that!

It's okay, don't sweat it. I don't play Unova 1 in my regular monoruns, but I do plan another Normal run, with the remakes and Black

Dude, that is Unova 2. The story of Pokémon White 2, to be specific.

And miss my chance to piss of people? Never.

Thanks, dude! Already working on the next part, hopefully with less autocorrect errors.

Thanks, I will

They will come. Although part 7 is still in the making.

be limited to Tangela in Gen 1 and you don't get Tangela early on. Ice or ghost would not be possible there, as there are no pure Pokémon

challenges that will be easier, but others get harder. And, as there are so many dual types, it would be highly impractical. Grass would 2/3

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In some cases, it makes it easier, but mostly not. A bug/steel type might resist rock, but is doubly weak to fire. There will be 1/2

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dual types are fine, as long as they share the type you run with. Ludicolo would be fine in water *and* grass type runs

It is. You need more tactics than raw strength. I plan on giving my monorun characters a place in the League of the story a friend and I do

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nice! I started this with my favorite type, bug.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's what I heard

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Accuracy Drop, Paraflinch, diverse TM such as Psychic for Electabuzz or higher level moves, such as Double Kick or Pin Missile for Jolteon

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks! They can be really fun. I'm doing a monotype run for every type in every generation. Electric is my fifth type.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For the first gym it was exactly that. For the rest of the run I could employ better tactics.

Thanks :D

You do you :) just let me do my thing

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You do realize I can't see your face when I read your comment? You didn't sound like joking, but eh, it's fine.

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Apparently not. Hey, I could have bullshitted, hit the sprinkler with a Thunderschock and then defeat the two ground types with Thunderbolt

7 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Anything lower than lvl 22 got absolutely wrecked by his Geodude and Onix

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Dude. My Pikachu knew only two damaging moves, one of which his Pokémon were immune too and resisted the other.

But really, when you do several monoruns, whose characters later shall become part of a story, nicknames help.

Lol

Is it? Garaja is punjabi for thunder, which is fitting, I think.
