They say Kyle was holding a skateboard. That means the snake acted in self defence

What was this essay? Link?

Huh. I don’t know if that’s a real ststment or joke but either way it’s interesting

So what were the other searches every few years?

I don’t know if this is an escalation. They’ve already blown up schools and bridges, and Iran fired on cargo ships as well

Not sure yet lol

Agreed. The claim has been debunked multiple times and sharing it shows people are paying lip service to caring about the issue while not actually bothering to read it, while claiming effectively that visiting a porn site is the equivalent of rape. It’s gross

Hi Jamessyins other account. His assumption that his brother wasn’t alright was based on thinking his brother was on a website he mistakenly believed was about rape. The fact that the website isn’t that at all, and is just a porn site, disproved it. 👍
The equivalent would be someone saying “I think my friend is sick since I saw him eat apples, and apples are inherently poisonous” and people saying “don’t worry, apples aren’t inherently poisonous.”

“Yes I see the facts say I’m wrong but I’m going to keep believing it anyway”

You clearly don’t actually care if reading and thinking is too much to ask

It’s also a different page. “62 million” was for an unrelated porn site some of them also happened to use. The “rape academy” was a telegram group.
It would be like claiming the fact that a criminal organization used Facebook for trafficking means everyone on Facebook is a trafficker

Did it occur to you to read the article and see the claim was false? You’re suspiciously defensive about something that is simply wrong, and about the fact you clearly tired to pretend to care about the issues in the article but didn’t care enough to open it up and read if.
Currently; you are trying to equate watching porn with raping people. Not sure what that says about your ethics.

No, buddy. You are trying to double down on something you know is wrong, and has been clarified with both the Snopes post and the article itself.
Btw, do you see a bit of irony that you see refences to “extreme porn” a problem when your own name is referencing a book many also claimed was “extreme”?

Good question; and no idea

As explained in the link I shared as well as the article itself, it is not true at all. Two completely different things. The “somewhat true” is that there was a rape academy. The “62 million” is not true

I’m afraid that not reading the article on the topic you claim to care about and spreading misinformation without checking doesn’t show you care, but that you want to appear as if you care without putting in any actual effort.

Also, I’m curious how you concluded “ Motherless” hints at that. “People who are currently with mothers” might. To me implies the opppsite; you are grown up and no longer need parents, like saying “adults website”

True. My main issue is that it shows the people spreading that number clearly don’t care except for internet clout. My first reaction after reading the claim was to be horrified and read the article. Theirs was to spread it online, but didn’t even bother to open it or comprehend it. It’s like phoney activism for clout that actually hurts the cause it claims to support

It’s not. At all. No Whete in the article is that even implied and it’s been clarified reportedly that it’s completely separate. Your brother isn’t looking to attack people, hes looking at porn. Two different things.

Basically your brother is fine, he’s just looking at porn as anyone that age does.

Conflating these two numbers isn’t helping; it shows that a lot of people who wanted to pretend to care by sharing couldn’t actually be bothered to read the bloody articles.

I’d argue that it’s actually the people spreading the “62 million” number who are “sleeping through the news.” They saw a Facebook post on a horrifying subject that linked the article, spread it to show they cared; but didn’t care enough to actually open it up and read it. They wanted to look like they cared but couldn’t be bothered to open a link. It’s gross.

So based on that article; the guy above is correct. “62 million” was the views on a porn website separate from the rape academy.
