All that being said, I think the marketing is very misleading. If you don't have the cones/rods to see certain wavelengths of light a pair of glasses isnt going to fix that whatsoever. Its just most CB people have a short string on the spectrum they can't see and emphasizing the colors in between the hole in visions simulates what it could look like. Kinda predatory given the price tag but it's as valuable as the joy it brings so there's that I guess.
This is a really sweet gift. As someone who is colorblind, I was interested in these glasses. As far as I understand though, they don't allow you to see new colors per say but if you have a deficiency in red, for example, they will bring other colors down through filtering to simulate the correct ratios of colors. I've tried another's pair on and I was able to see purple more properly and it was cool.

I wouldn't use a paper shredder. Most are not made to shred things like plastic. They will get caught in the blades, create friction, and eventually cause something to break or get jammed.

"It's giving" is a phrase in the fashion and make up sphere specifically. instead of saying "the outfit is sexy" it would be "the outfit is giving sexy" I'm pretty sure it was popularized on rue Paul's drag race.
