She was the 3rd of 6 kids, and it was common practice for them to kind of lie to the younger two kids who were under eight about when their dad would come home because there were often last minute delays in his return. The’f usually inflate by 2-3 weeks, that way if there were delays, oh well, and if dad got home “early”, well who would be sad about that?

This was something that I appreciated about my AP classes. For those standardized tests you had essays and you could write about anything you wanted within the prompt as long as you can make it fit within the prompt. There was no right answer. It just sucked that it took getting to advanced placementto be able to experience this way of thinking and problem-solving.
