Every once in a while I think about that scene in scrubs where they say they caught Ted throwing rocks at couples in the park on Valentines day and he just grumbles "Why should THEY be happy..."Not sure why I'm bringing that up right now, just occurred to me for some reason.
This guy is "the people" ... one of them at least. People are trying.
Sorry your spouse was like that... but just to tell you? Nice you was nice, we liked them. I'm glad you're protecting yourself and not being taken advantage of, seriously - keep that up - but... maybe don't lose nice you entirely? I think you can do both, when you're ready. My initial reaction to "name a bird" is to immediately think of all the, you know, 'special birds'. The birds people watch for with their specific scientific / weird bird names. The "long necked brown breasted gobblers", "siberian invictus hyperionicos" or "Dark Wranglers" or whatever. I could easily momentarily forget that "oh... yeah... chickens are also technically "birds"" when thinking like that. Also those birds that try to kill all austrailians every spring have to be the worst, right?
They changed the test for literacy then, when people started scoring lower, blamed everything from the pandemic to screens to teachers to... everything except the fact that they changed the fucking test. It's kinda bullshit. Old test: Read this recipe, now tell us what did they say you needed two cups of? New Test: Read this poetry, now tell us what it *implies* and the author realllllly meant...
Except... this rigging is directly in response to the previous rigging of Texas/ other states - and only lasts until that's resolved or the next census (2030) at which point it'll be re-districted again.
There are world files and backup world files that are basically the "save" files for your world, make sure you copy those to somewhere safe - you can always try them against a fresh installation or another computer someday. Email the world files to yourself too (or whatever), so you'll be able to get them a decade from now - you may forget them but... more than likely you'll thank yourself later.
Troll harder. Over five and a quarter million people marching and risking persecution is literally the greatest number of protesters ever to demonstrate simultaneously. (The previous greatest in 2003 in Italy had 3 million.) The fact that America has its immense size working against it, the most powerful and prevalent propaganda machine in history misleading millions and an active effort over decades to create just this political situation by some of the richest people in history... it hurts.
Researching previous Galactus defeats he'd already know about the ultimate nullifier (and how to emotionally manipulate Norin Radd / Shala Ba if needed) Recognizing that the nullifier greatly resembles DarkSeid's omega beams (which he's copied before using a god bullet - against darkseid himself) I think he'd be just fine. Though sometimes the nullfier just makes everything equally likely to happen, in which case you can beat Galactus by playing baseball.That or he'd whistle for Superman.
"Heart's" works as a contrast to fleeting, balancing serious against lightAlternately "quick" matches fleeting and doubles down on it, so could work... But with the censorship and flavor it was probably "damned" or "dam'd" For funzies though it could be "stars" desire! Making it annoying, obnoxious and even a little potential if intentional! Anything is possible! Probably damned though
Already is, just on government laptops instead of personal. So much of the gov went down... Much is still recovering secondary/support machines(user file servers, random old servers, etc) There's probably an actual (weak, but real) argument to charge them with treason for the damage this did to the gov. Though I have no idea if it affected anything defense depends on, I know pensions/opm/etc had a hard weekend and are still catching up.
This the second post arguing for more slums / projects /lower living conditions being a new norm as a solution people would or should some how want... instead fixing prices, fixing hoarding, fixing rent gouging, or regulating anything. Wtf? Shills? Are people really arguing that they desperately want more packed to the gills shitty apartment buildings? Just make what's there affordable..
