A fun bio of me goes here. I added one.

With instruments. It’s demeaning, very much not ok, and traumatizing. I hate how wheel of time normalizes violence and punishment. Otherwise, stellar series. Loved reading them.

The one thing I’m not faulting her for.

Stainless steel pans all the way. Toss ‘ em wherever (oven, outside, freezer, dishwasher) and they’ll live. I’m not living to babysit a pan.

Suits the mood of getting up

In particular; showing a kid empathy for said kid makes it grow, whereas yelling at the kid to have more empathy will diminish it. My parents did not get that memo.

This is because your childhood or another period of time in your life was that danggerpus, you got stuck in constant danger mode. Even if it’s safe now.

Right there with you every night, if that helps.

#16 I did have those. About teenagers they are now. If I’d have known how the world looks now, I’d make different decisions.

I slept like that for years after I had babies. Made the night feeds so much easier. Almost unnoticeable. Loads of free time too. Loved it. But it’s back to the grind again.

I liked religion growing up. The idea that all these people believed in being good to one another really felt reassuring. Even if I never believed in a creator or a higher being.

Then the world kept proving that those are just words. And adults hide behind saying the good thing to cover up for doing the bad thing. Now I’m really angry with people forcing their religion on their kid, because it’s just a way to suppress said kid and any out-group as is determined by them or a man in a dress.

I’ll take it. I could use a new one

Nice. Ours is a geyser-type heater or whatever they’re called in freedom countries. As long as there’s gas in the pipes and water in the other pipes, we’re showering warm. During my homebirth it lasted for over 3 hours. Would recommend.

#42 I really wished I could find ones that worked for me.

Fun fact: everyone can learn it! It just takes practice and you have to accidentally find it once.

Wrong. Aluminum foil and sticky tape can teach them ‘never’. They will stop trying eventually.

#8 I’m all of these!

I had one on my door, above my mirror, and on the side of my high bed, when I was living in 12m2. But it’s supercramped and I hated it.

In assessing their language skills, I fully agree.

If someone proceeds to make the same mistake 6 times, I’m going to correct them for my peace of mind and for other people to see what is written was just not correct.

No, YOU would need a second machine.

We just do a load every day. There’s always one of us home with the kids. On 48m2 I’m not trading precious space for another machine.

That’s a ridiculous solution. You also have 2 dryers, dishwashers, and fridges? We don’t have space for that either. Otherwise we’d have a dryer.

Our giant machine is only filled when we save up 8 weeks worth of underwear and socks. There’s not enough shirts to be washed on hot. Then again, we don’t have a dryer either, so it’s also not a real problem.

Ehm… I plead the fifth. I don’t have enough hots to run a full machine for underwear, socks and shirts alone.

Simple sugar cookies in 10min prep time:

100g flour
75g butter/margarine
50g sugar
pinch of salt

Knead into ball. Roll up into parchment/baking sheet and stick in the freezer. Heat up oven to 175°C (set an alarm). Take out roll of dough and slice into discs. Put them on the sheet and bake for 10-17 minutes, depending on thickness of cookies. They shouldn’t really brown. Let them cool before enjoying.
