Generative Algorithms (NOT AI. Call it what it is and it'll die) Are only as good as the worst content they are trained on. They are a regressive technology.

This, the sooner people stop calling generative algorithms ai and start calling them what they actually are the faster the buzz about them will die off.

Because 'AI', or rather GAs, Generative Algorithms are fed data en mass, most of that data being taken without consent of every day people posting their pride on the internet. Generative Algorithms are en mass theft from every day people by corporations with more money than any of us will ever see.

Add on the power and water costs required, leading to drought and power spikes, people are being tripple tapped with first theft then increased costs, even on ones who have mostly cyclical systems.

Because if you aren't going to do anything about it, that's whats gonna happen, and we're all gonna suffer for it.

If you aren't going to fight for even the most miniscule of progress, then you're a lost cause. Enjoy Trump 2028.

No, i will put the blame on the 70m eligible americans who aren't voting. Your apathy towards not voting for a left that isn't your perfect left is effectively a vote to the right. You've become precisely what the right wants you to be, completely apathetic and willing to be walked over. It doesn't matter how bad the lesser side is, this is not the time to let the greater evil win.

Well, keep playing your moral high ground while the country crumbles around you, at the very least, you'll be able to hold your head up high saying 'at least i didn't vote for only one genocide.' while the irons are clapped around your neck and your countrymen whom are of the slighest color get massacred.
Your choices are shit. I get that, but they've gotten this shit because one side has perpetually eroded every protection because they've been given enough power thanks to apathy like your own.

To summarise; The US has a lot of problems, you can't fix them all at once and fix them all immediately. It's gonna take a whole generation of constant healing to actually start making an impact. You were offered an opportunity to have the best way to start fixing things and you threw it away because of the one thing you wanted fixed wasn't going to be fixed because of diplomatic alliances that if broken would have made the current fuel crisis seem like a small inconvenience in comparison.

Need i also remind you that your current president has attempted to bypass the nuclear launch safeguards recently, and will probably actively try and disassemble them and initiate MAD before the midterms?

I don't think you are appreciating just how badly you have fucked up by accepting the worst of the two evils, there is no time to try and get a perfect solution, you have to take the best solution there is even if it was a litteral pile of dung. The entire world is dependent on that right now.

Also, even if i was a 'moderate right' voter in my country (Australia), i would still be further left than the current democrats are outside of the token few there are. I vote greens first, but i also know there is no one bandaid solution.
I need to hammer it in hard for you to understand this; your system is so far right that you need to vote for the left most possible, no matter how bad they are at being left, because only then might more progressive left people be encouraged to step forward.

Also, like i said, you cunts had the perfect opportunity for a better voting system and you ignored it because of a war. And now instead you're at risk of becoming a dictatorship, the genocide still happened and now the entire world hates you. Good Job, you played yourself.
Sometimes you have to take the lesser of two evils, because fixing the shitshow that America was before trump was going to take 100 baby steps, now it's gonna take 400. trying to take a 10 meter long jump isn't going to work.

Fine, keep getting people like Trump in power. Because heres the simple fact of the matter. The US parties are both right sided compared to the rest of the world, because every time a democrat house had a bill blocked it had to move further right to get that bill passed.
The only way that will change is if you have 40+ years of democrat super majorities where republicunts and demotraitors cannot block a bill. Then, Maybe there will be enough Burnies running for spots for the USA you want.

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe because they're being forced to try and attract moderate conservatives who think Trump is a lunatic, because 1/3rd of you cunts are happy with the absolutely worst option by not voting. Why bother trying to attract someone who has no intention of voting?

Libs were suggesting ranked choice voting under Kamela, and you cunts still didn't vote. Ranked choice, you know, the best fucking way to get your voice heard and also make sure your vote is a part of the final tally? But you didn't vote.

Okay, so you are happy getting fucked by a rusty pitchfork then, don't complain when it happens. Again, not voting at all, is a declaration that you think the absolute worst option is perfectly fine.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

This fucking "This guy isn't good enough for my desires so i'm not voting" type of attitude is the exact reason the US has decayed for the last 40+ years, you've been letting the right force the left further and further right every time they manage to block a decent policy. You basically need 80+ consecutive years of Left Super majorities to bring the US back from the damage that has been caused. Not voting is effectively proclaiming "I am happy to take the absolute worst option."

Just to clarify, are we talking American Center right or rest of the sane world center right? Theres a big difference.

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

For our currently used space technology yes. Technically we do have the technology to throw nukes out the back of a spaceship and ride the explosion, yes, that that sounds insane, but it's likely the best method for any civilization that does not have at least one of the following to attempt interstellar colonization; A dyson sphere/swarm (To utilize ablative lasers for thrust), A/AM thrust or FTL drives.

For high power thrust/sustainable thrust/ftl as in Futurama, direct is better.

If the 1/3rd 'both sides' block actually gave a shit and were active voters, the sides that are losing would be forced to look at you and wonder 'huh, how can we attract these voters to our side.' This is a painstakingly long process that has been degraded over the last 40+ years. It's literally a 'I'm planting oaks for my great grandchildren to sit in the shade of' situation right now. It's been that way for 2-3 generations, someones gotta start being the ones planting those oaks. Be that guy.

And thus, you are one of those perpetuating the persistent, continuous slide to the right of American politics.

Literally the only way any party you are actually interested in voting for every having a chance of getting seats in anywhere that isn't already super heavy democrat leading, is if the Republicunts never have enough seats to try and force a 'meet in the middle then we take 3 steps right and demand you meet in the middle again' for the next 80 years or so to undo the last 40 years.

Alas, non-voters in the last election will refuse to vote on their principles again, even though every time republicans have blocked a piece of legislation the senate has irrevocably been forced further to the right. The people whom think this isn't good enough need to realise, that it's gonna take like 80 years of 'okay fine, this will have to do for the left' with enough depth that magats can't block legislation for their desired candidates to even have a fucking chance.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And yes, this is not something that will happen overnight, You've been sliding in this direction constantly for the last 40 years or so, but especially so in the last 15, You're probably looking at your grandkids retiring by the time we start seeing actual proper prosperity at this point, because your inaction based on neither party perfectly encompasses your preferences has repeatedly emboldened the arseholes.

This kind of bullshit is part of the reason WHY the USA is so extreme right that even your fucking left side is considered conservative right and that Bernie is fucking CENTRIST at best. Every time you DONT vote for the lesser evil, you are inevitably letting the needle move further and further to the greater evil. What you need is to vote so heavily towards the lesser evil that the greater evil vanishes from impotency, and a new lesser evil comes up more good aligned than the other lesser evil.

Except this is affecting them, the only difference is it wasn't positive. A lot of people look at Newcastle/Hunter Valley in Australia and wonder 'why the fuck do you always vote labor you dumbasses never get anything because you're an ultra safe seat.' yet fail to understand. Labor being in the Status Quo at least remains. Coalition getting in means that shit gets worse within days.

TLDR: Voting for No Change is significantly better than not voting and getting a negative change as a result.

It's a well known fact that the stock market is nothing but a game played by multi-billionaires that doesn't really have any true baring on the economy at large. This just became blatantly obvious after said multi-billionaires threw all the toys into the trash with the Gamestop Incident.

it is, just look at the front lions backside as it stands up, incredibly obvious as the tree merges with the lion.

This! This! This! This! This! This! This! This! The only hope for America right now is for the military who has said 'fuck you we follow the constitution' to trump to say 'fuck you you started this' to the fascists.

Y'all give any reason for the military to move against you, inescapable dictatorship will be in place within a few weeks.

You can see the car litterally put the brakes on, 100% intentional by the car there.

I dunno, wouldn't you... slow down even more than the speed limit if you were unfamiliar with a location? seeing as speed limits account for more than just the road condition itself, and factors in scenarios such as, oh, i dunno, A blind corner?

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Tell me that 10 years ago and i'd believe you. Nowadays, i think they need to remove all of the warning labels from shit, warnings to slow down from roads (Unless they are specifically due to a blind corner intersection that might have people coming out, give the people in that intersection a chance), just let the idiots wipe themselves off the planet. Accommodating those who lack or refuse to practice critical thinking has done nothing good for society or the planet.
