What the hell dude
From a safety standpoint you can't be sure that the guy wasn't the person who set the bomb there and is trying to set it off

Was camping in RMNP. Poked my head out of the tent in the middle of the night to check the stars, and saw an elk about 2 feet away from me.

I learned a ton of math in school. Now I build rockets. The most math I've ever used is multiplication and division.
No, but it can freeze them. Part of the reason it sank is because steel becomes brittle in freezing temperatures
