Ah, you got me. How I didn't anticipate this is beyond me.
I always thought that this was duck poop next to the lakes.
I really like the style you had it done in. Came out looking great!
Awesome work! Paint reminds me of Cripes A' Mighty. A local guy in my area that owns a museum and has it displayed in his hangar.

That must've been where Matt Groening got some inspiration from.
Stop attacking people having fun and start going after the industrial engines with no emission controls that are the major contributors.

I knew the second I saw the thumbnail that it was VW. I have a turbine wheel on my toolbox that separated exactly the same way.

This reminds me of all the trucks that come in with all 24 bolts on the cross member between the rear axles spinning by hand. Torch time.
Neat! Those are the same kind of trucks I work on, though we don't do many heavy repairs like this. Ford cabs are okay compared to Sterling.

I've seen coin rings before, but nothing that maintains the details the way yours do. Amazing work!
The worst part of this is that people can lose someone they love and still not learn to take advantage of the time they have with others.

I'm almost positive the all glass ones on the left are Ikea, dunno about the others. In for info.
It looks like the pole is on the same platform as the cars. Can't see if the fence is there or not.

After gathering all the parts together, I completed my swap in one day. Having the right tools goes a long way.
It was my first car too. Still drive it every day.
They're one of the easiest cars to do a manual transmission swap on, you know, if you're feeling brave one day.
Definitely in for your next post. Maybe do some kanjo racers in another post? Just post after post of intro to the Japanese car scenes?
The style of modification started within bike gangs and spread to cars from what I understand.
Japan has a pretty big rat rod and hot rod scene too, especially given how far away the cars are manufactured.
