It's not bonkers - so, you think people shouldn't have to pay taxes on lottery winnings? There's enough tax nonsense out there without some corporate entity deciding to hide income from IRS by saying their employees _won_ the money, not earned it?

I've been in the semiconductor/chip design business for 30-ish years, and have lived through at least 4 "end of Moore's law" scares - amazingly, they found ways around it every time. It gets (much) more expensive with each new innovation, though. My guess is it'll end up being a "too expensive to make money on" issue instead of an actual technology one.
Public school - Minnesota - local high school teaches Calculus, Differential Equations, Multivariate Calculus, and Linear Algebra, but most of those are peculiar to this high school in the area, and draw kids to open-enroll just to get them. But most HSs teach at least calculus.

Well, if my experience is any indication, the first filling stations puts all the worse-looking grapes on the bottom, and then the final station that they show here puts the pretty ones on the top layer.
