Thank you! It was my wedding dress (we put our bridesmaids and groomsmen in white and we were in the fun color lol) and it was my intent to wear it again, but not for this. Was very happy to wear it again regardless of this being a last minute thing for me. I wasn’t sure if the make up would arrive on time lol 😆🤍

That’s right! I forgot they are trying to corner the pet insurance market. Which….sorry, pet insurance does you no fucking good when the policy and requirement is that YOU pay for everything UP FRONT at your vet clinic and then the insurance reimburses you. Maybe. If they feel like it. I know TruPanion was trying to pay clinics directly but I’m out the game. No idea what it’s like now. I was required to talk about pet insurance to clients 🙄 but mostly, people would just end up with care credit.
Yep, one of the owners of MARS went into a partnership with a Veterinarian and then pushed that Veterinarian out. Banfield, VCA, and a bunch of others are owned by MARS. Did you know they also own a lot of the dog and cat food? Like Royal Canin and others? The history of this shit is amazing. Did 7.5 years as an assistant in vet med and I’m telling you, a privately owned clinic is going to be your best bet.

They gave us the vaccines and as a woman I had to sign 3 different documents stating that I have been informed if I get pregnant within X amount of months, my fetus/baby would either be disfigured, mentally undeveloped, risk of internal organs being developed outside the body of the fetus/baby, or still birth. They had us sign the documents AFTER they gave us the vaccines. 🤷♀️ Pro tip, do 20 or so push ups after you get vaccines and your arms hurt WAY less the next day.

Awesome! Yeah, that one is also on the shelf. I have adhd and I’m trying so hard to change my behavior with reading. As a kid, easy, loved it. As an adult, so hard to get into reading. Red Shirts and KPS pulled me out of my “why can’t I just sit and read?!” funk and I made it a point to tell John and thank him. His writing style is definitely great for my neurodivergent brain lol can’t wait to read these two! Just need to finish my adhd book 😅
Yeah! I’ve been told Locked In is better heard with the Amber Benson audiobook but Will Wheaton also did a version. Locked In can be read from any genders pov. I need to read that one next but I’m trying to finish a self help book rn lol 😂 KPS is sooooo good! Highly recommend! And if you like Star Trek at all you’ll like Red Shirts too lol
Love John! And his books! If you ever get a chance to meet him do it! Red Shirts and Kaiju Preservation Society are two of my favorites from him. Also, Will Wheaton does his audiobooks and he’s very good at telling you the story if audiobooks are your thing.
Wife here! Yes thank you so much for doing this! My dad likes to debate me about information that is 4 months old that he just learned on Facebook that week. It drives me crazy, and takes a solid HOUR to set him straight. I told him, if he wants to debate me he HAS to be up to date. He hasn’t debated me since I’ve sent these lol.
