Using a VPN from my work because it’s free and easy so no naughty sites.
First time since the safety bill I have needed to look, and now because of IMGUR I have a VPN on my phone.
Think of it as posh peoples marmite and eat it as such, typically on something else. Although I am not sure how caviar would go with cheese in a toastie
Oh it can be bad in any country, but find the UK worse on average. But I think the German attitude makes it feel worse as a nation of engineers expect things to just work. Just as in India no one seemed bothered by a 2 hour delay. In Japan a 5 second delay on the bullet train was pretty bad.
Reminds me of what Frankie Boyle said on hearing her funeral cost the tax payers £3 million: “For 3 million you could give everyone in Scotland a shovel, and we could dig a hole so deep we could hand her over to Satan in person”
As a Brit who lived in Germany for almost a decade, the UK trains are far worse. It’s just the Germans get angry when it’s 2 mins late, in the UK we get slightly miffed when it’s an hour late.
Is this not how the Canadian fire fighting planes are getting water, by scooping it from the Ocean?
I watched it at 11 and was too scared to watch it again until I was 38. Was a lot less scary the 2nd time.

Absolutely. I don’t know the artist to give credit to as a friend texted me.
We had a bomb calorimeter at school. I remember burning a single peanut to measure its calorie content then writing a list of 20 reasons why the experiment had errors.
We have it at least 3 says in August and a handful of others per year.
True. I just hope that there is some better writing than ‘the TVA fixed it all and we never heard from him again’ but it’s hard to get closure without seeing what happens to the Kangs.
Only HWR is dead. VT is still alive at the end of S2. Not that they necessarily need to address what’s happening to him now. To shelve him / Kang generally and come back much later is an option but I don’t see them doing it.
I was thinking ‘what if they only do it if the actor is fired or killed’ but then there are issues of should they pay the actor or not. Then could they kill or frame for a crime a too expensive actor. I have not seen black mirror but can see how this could get dark and complex.

The season ending left so many possible directions they could go in. I just hope it’s a good one and not a “somehow Kang didn’t return” line as lazy as “somehow Palptine returned”
His contract said not to use other actors for Kang, I am sure Disney can get around that due to how he left. As for using an AI version of him, I wonder if future contracts may allow that if you are fired but even if they were legally allowed to there is a lot of proper acting needed and I don’t think it would fly.
I thought they were building Kang well and was looking forward to seeing how it went. I just hope however they deal with it is not too jarring.
Marvel has fired actor Jonathan Majors after his assault conviction in court Monday day this week. So plans for Kang are up in the air.
Cassie, ant man’s daughter from endgame, recast in any man 3
I had read that but there is a chance his conviction could represent a breach of contract (pure speculation as I don’t think the full contract is public).
Ant Man’s daughter cassie between Endgame and Quantummania and Ed Nortons from the 2008 Hulk.
Or Deadpool figures out the multiverse and jumps to one where he can audition for the spot.
Yes he was just today found guilty of assault and harassment of his ex girlfriend.
The way that’s worded does not mean it’s cancelled, just he’s not in it. They could recast? Or perhaps they spin to another story. Or perhaps a Liki variant takes the void.
Really? I had not seen that yet. Guess that indicates a new direction not a recast.
