People are still going to vote for Biden; that’s not the issue. It’s the fact that we’re being forced to support him at gun point against project 2025. A lot of people would like anyone else from the party to run instead of Biden. Hell, Pelosi’s defense of him on CNN sole to the same struggle of mental faculties. These people are too old; it’s ok to want more from our elected officials.

Sort of? There was a lot more movement outside the CIA’s use of the school of the americas and Latin America. A lot of our info in that still isn’t declassified and tied up in FOIA requests, with evidence supporting interference in the Caribbean, Africa, and south east Asia.

The language can still change, and will overtime. Same as having people colloquially just saying ‘trans’ to be more inclusive to labels between different generations of queer folk— one set preferring transsexual and another preferring transgender. Or the introduction of ‘cis’, cisgender, and cisnormative as words to more accurately talk about how our societies view gender, similar to that introduction 20 years ago for ‘hetero’ based terms. I get where he’s coming from, but the fact is, until they called to unionize, he didn’t know they weren’t doing enough. And asking for a direct relationship with employees leads to a power-imbalanced relationship. It’s always better to unionize and discuss your needs on equal terms, even when there are good business leaders with good intentions.
