A lot of the US gets all of their information from right wing sources. Trump didn't bother trying to justify or sell the war, but I expect Fox and Sinclair and right wing podcasts and FB accounts are working overtime trying to do it for him.

One of my first jobs was at the supply annex at a local Bank. At one point it involved formatting the hard drives of stack of old DOS PCs so they could be safely disposed of. It took FOREVER.

It's worth remembering that even if the crypto stuff was the only controversy this admin had going, it'd still be the most corrupt in US history by a huge margin.

No matter how good the next president is, everyone will know that things could go right back to this next election. I can't imagine this damage being undone in my lifetime.

Trump is also famous for intentionally walking in on 15 year old models while they were changing. And it's not about what he likes, it's about his involvement in Epstein's trafficking operations. You're right that the immediate stuff is more important right now, but don't over correct and say that his abuse of girls in the past and coverups of it didn't happen.
Starting with "Don't let them distract you" really undermines the idea that he's just pointing out a thing on the list that more people can relate to. The Federal siege of an American city as political retribution and threats of war with NATO aren't distractions from the price of groceries.
The movies are really fun. Some of the best fantasy movies ever made. I still think they're not good adaptations of the books.

It's not a tactical move, it's the result of the fact that Republicans have no idea how to govern if the Democrats don't do it for them. They finally found the point where Democrats won't finish their homework for them, so they're just not turning it in, because they can't do it.
Pelicans seem silly and funny until you look closely at one. Then they become really disturbing.
I was thinking more that they need an out from the shutdown. They need a way to end it without admitting they're caving because the Democrats won't blink. Having her turn on them might be their best option.
