My coworker's husband mentioned their bidet, and an old lady jumped into homophobic remarks. Wanted to punch her SO bad.

They sell wipes to clean it. Some also take water bottles to rinse over the public toilet. An experienced cup user is prepared, anyway.
For some this isn't even a problem. In my case, I never have to change it in a public place since my flow/work schedule align just right.
But yes, it can get messy lol
The comfort is what outweighs all the cons for me. Also the ease of not having to change it for hours when I'm unable to use the restroom.
Pour it in the toilet and rinse in sink with cold water. No stains. Only time it slipped from me was due to being overfilled (my fault).
