Fricken bios, what are they good for.
#19 yes, scorpions fluoresce under blacklight which is UV light. They technically do that in the daytime too... the sun is just too bright for us to easily see it.
Yeah I agree, the herding dog is in the back helping human. Big happy boi in front is the one who stays with the sheep to make sure nothing tries to eat them. They have a different but also important job :)

I think its because they start hanging out with other "truck people" and then when they dont have a truck anymore they dont fit in so they stop hanging out. Seen the same phenomenon, only way I can explain it.
It didnt have the motors or magnets to move the pieces itself, but it could respond with what piece should move to what space. So you had to do all the movements, but it was the brain.

Its not impossible to get there, its just that for any animal who is intimidated by cars its completely unreasonable. There is no way to get onto this type of highway without walking alongside them for a long time. The entrances and exits are all relatively narrow, and even the parts that do go near woods/grass are fenced. Additionally the dog looks to be literally in the middle of an overpass so they couldnt have jumped over the wall either, there is no ground on the other side of it.
"free for people to enjoy" is not the same as "free for you to profit off of"
All four of my grandparents were born in the US, and out of my great grandparents who I met 7 of, I believe 4 were born in the US. Trump is a traitor and shredding both the United States' soft power and the trust of its people in the legal system. He should have been impeached and no longer eligible to be president a long long time ago in at least three different ways.
yeah it would be global suicide for the US to touch Canada but with how insane his actions lately are... its not... entirely off the table. As an American to a Canadian... I already know what side I will take if he tries anything. Stay safe.
two of my siblings work at a local place and several of the drinks and sandwiches are their own inventions and regulars order them often! One regular even specifically asks for my brother because sometimes he is the only one on shift that knows how to make a specific off-menu item thats available.
it took me a long time to get used to... I still dont know if I am tbh. Lots of talking with people on calls or Discord :)

Oh I forgot about tax breaks/credits and joint filing. I was doing math off of what I would have to pay with no tax breaks and single... I figured she might have saved like 1200 because thats how much you would pay in taxes for 22000 income with no tax breaks... but yeah I doubt she would have paid anything on that including joint filing and any tax credits.
We dont know how much else she made so really hard to say, but presuming her base pay for deliveries was over 12k but less than 40k, the tips would have incurred about 1300 in federal taxes. If she made less than 12k base pay from deliveries then it would be less taxes.

They dont care if I take a nap in the middle of the day "because I felt tired", I finished the things I was assigned and met with the people that scheduled time on my calendar. I think my bosses realize that I deliver high quality work because they leave me alone, not because they are micromanaging me, and they are fine with that haha.
so, the explosives that are most commonly mounted on tiny drones lose their effectiveness very quickly over distance due to their design. The most effective armor will always be thickness but the cheapest armor is distance. This is a super cheap and ultra-light retrofit that provides a huge survivability boost to to the vehicle and passengers against a suicide drone. We are talking about like... FPV and racing style drones here, not flying 20000ft up intercontinental drones.
People who are brave enough to switch are very very needed, and the more vocal the better. Because there are many who see political things like a sports team and if they support the "other team" all their friends and family will be mad at them and they might not fit in at any of their hangouts or groups anymore either. For people who arent good at seeing the bigger picture or sacrificing the short term for the long term... that means they dont switch at all. Because they are scared.
Germans are oddly infatuated with Ohio and I am not sure why. They even have Ohio roleplay, look it up, its weird as hell.
I actually was made to practice that and can still do it 100% accurately if I have a list of the state names and do at least 40-45 of them without a list (I always forget some of the small ones when I have to list them off the top of my head). I used to have to place unnamed state shapes on a blank map with no lines to be graded on placement accuracy, and then name the capital of every state... so... WITH lines and without capitals? Much easier.
And also, realistically, amortization of the xray machine. Since its for-profit and not a service they have to get something from the cost of the machine itself and its maintenance both of which are relatively expensive. If healthcare in the US was a service then... yeah that would be sort of irrelevant its just a part of the cost of the service to the people.

There is only a short period of time to ask questions and she was delaying and giving non-answers to so many things, that a lot of the questioners began self-answering things to move to their most important points before time ran out and let her dig her own grave with insults, remarks, and attempted answers to the few questions they chose to ask. When someone is being so hostile in their answers you only have so many options in a limited time format.
I imagine its just scrapped honestly. You report the cash as destroyed and its reprinted... done.
the thing is, I sometimes need those meetings, but they are always the most useful when 0 managers are present. I hate having them with anyone more than 1 level "above" someone technical. They somehow always manage to make the meeting more convoluted and less productive.
