"another one" to the nearest fit, assuming they said number one instead. So i repeated that, and wanted to start my descent. But (3/?)
"you're number one" (indicating you're the next to land). So i was listening for protocol i expected to hear, so i translated their (2/?)
They asked me to do another circle by saying "Another one", which is not protocol. But giving clearance to land is done by saying (1/?)
I once was in holding pattern and tower said "another one", so i replied "number one". Biiiig panic. They apologized for breaking protocol
