It def sucks right now, and a while longer, but it WILL get easier over time. If you are seriously struggling, as others have said, there are probably pet grief support groups in your area and they may be free (or you can ask for reduced fee/referral to another group that meets more of your budget)! I also lost my baby suddenly, 4 days ago. I understand your pain and I’m sorry. Grief is a bitch and we all grieve differently. Have you considered some alternatives to freeze drying? I had my kitty cremated so I can bring his ashes w me, to wherever I move to next. I’ll be buying a toy clone of him, too, which costs around $350 and I can actually cuddle with it. Also, I noticed there are urn jewelry on Etsy if you decide to cremate. Would these options work better for your current situation? ❤️
