Stuff and things

The thing is, people have the memory and self-restraint of a housefly. People will actively choose to patronize an establishment that literally funds campaigns against their very existence. And I'm not referring to cases where "The only options are all evil", I'm talking about situations like "Yeah, but I really want this chicken sandwich now."

I'd love for people to really use boycotts effectively, but they just don't. It winds up being a small handful of us who actually DO it.

I'm of the mindset that at least 60% of the general populace genuinely can't do long division without a calculator, and are allergic to anything resembling actually researching a topic. Some might say 60% seems to low, but I would remind them I say AT LEAST.

News orgs are A.) owned by facists, and/or B.) scared that if they refuse to cover the bullshit the administration gives them, their viewers will simply tune elsewhere to someone who DOES cover it.

And sadly, let's be honest: they're almost certainly correct.

You weren't doing anything together? Sure you were, you were doing her together!

If you've read anything in the released files, it clearly says Bill never once went to the island.

A lot of us are tired of people slopping clearly misguided 'hope' around, getting people's hopes up , and then doing it all over again after the last time they let everyone down.

Its a show. She knows where her orders come from, she's just trying to look like a pitbull for her constituents -they don't pay attention to facts, they just believe what their republican politicians tell them. She'll say she fought it, and that will be all in their minds.

Damn, you look beautiful. I wouldn't have even guessed there was a scar there before. Congratulations on your healing process, and congratulations on your lovely doggos as well ๐Ÿถ

You are truly delusional.

Its the moral imperative.

The way they're rushing his agendas through more and more intensely, the less convinced I am that we're literally going to be ABLE to do that.

Yeah, there have been a few... Incidents that people wildly chose to overlook with him before.

You might be surprised.

If you aren't squeamish, look up needle play. If you know what you're doing, take your time, and keep close tabs on your partner, you can do some intense and beautiful looking designs in human skin, and they'll experience only mild discomfort. A lot of people consensually and carefully engage in this, because while it is often painless, it DOES cause your body to do a MASSIVE endorphin euphoria.

As long as consent was negotiated and continuous, I assure you the tomato will be fine. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Was. He lost the democratic ticket, so now he's running under an alternative party ticket.

So the headboard hitting it wouldn't really be an issue anyway?

Let's just call it the chupa-thingy.

Whatever the issue was, it obviously wasn't as much of a concern to them as squeezing out one more graveyard shift of her work. That says a lot about the situation.

I've done temp work at places that operated that way. It sucks, but it still feels less shitty than getting it at the end of a long/late shift.

Good employee or bad, the choice to have her work graveyard and fire her after the end of a full shift is beyond the pale.

As an ADHD adult trying to go back to college years ago, I literally programmed a study tool designed around this exact problem. Still have the prototypes of it. It would provide multiple forms of mental stimulus while studying, in order to help me study longer without mentally shutting down, and genuinely retain the information better -because standard education methods simply don't cut it with ADHD. It worked phenomenally. These days there are a lot of tools that will do the same for you.

Unfortunately a substantial number of us put him there, and a substantial number of us still support him, even in this stupidity. I can't blame much of the world for just wanting us to screw off into the sunset and leave them alone.

I wish it weren't the case, but I honestly can't blame them.

Honestly, I moved and I was tempted to set up one of those discreet PO Boxes so that I could just lie about my location.
