I'm not a witty gal, but I feel that if you've come here looking for something I should reward you with some trifle thing. I am at the half-century mark in age, but mentally more like a naive 18 yr old. I am: full-time employed outside my home, married, an empty nest mom of 2 independent man children, a bad dancer - but I care not who sees, not a floof owner - but love them dearly, more likely to scroll imgur than fb, one to keep my things neat and tidy - but not OCD about it, a reader of real books - when I have the time, one to be equally impressed by the simplicity of a flower as the complexity of a muscle car, a lurking fan of imgur but would love to be more "friendly" here. How close do you think YOU could get? I AM willing to risk my life if it was guaranteed they would be "out of commission". I won't get past any guard they have b/c I am a regular working stiff - the easiest target to get beaten down and "disappeared".
Everyone is waiting for us Americans to do this - believe me, we desire it. But the retaliation for it is getting wide-spread. We are not safe from any of our "representatives" , military, police, national guard - they are all on the Rump payroll. We need someone from another country who does not give a shit about the money they could be given to protect the p3do warmonger but will bask in the glory of knowing they saved the world!

Exactly this. Those who aren't rich cannot afford to miss work to join protests. They need to keep their jobs so they can feed and provide the basic care for their family. I agree that we need to collectively join together to protest AND supply support for those who need it during these times.

I don't make a lot of money, never have. I have
always been proud to pay my taxes. I am proud to do my part to "help America operate" .
It completely amazes me that so many people don't feel that way and love to gloat how they "get around" paying their fair share. It seriously makes me sad for our country of which I used to be so proud to be a part.
There has to be something that brings you a piece(&peace) of joy. Treat yourself to that joy and see if you can share that with someone else. Start small and build on it when you can. The Tom Hanks advice about time is true. Time changes so much.

It truly is unfortunate that so many people see driving as a "right" and not as a "privilege" . I feel people are careless with their rights, but when it is seen as a privilege they may take more care in what they do. I have been telling my husband for years that driving places is not something to win. Everybody is in their own race. I'm not competitive so I drive the speed limit. People get mad at me and zoom around me, but then I'm left alone on the road without pressure. In most cases.
Such an unbelievable shame! That book has made so many kids proud of their differences - why is that something to be banned?

I laugh with my spouse all the time ( been married 35 yrs), he always asks "what?", I say how happy I am and never thought we'd still be having this kind of fun.
In '91 I became pregnant, let the insurance co know as I had prenatal care, Dr. visits, the Dr.
office billed the ins. co along the way. When I delivered my healthy child, they denied the hospital and delivery fees because I did not alert them I was delivering. I was told I was lucky that I had a healthy baby. (Thanks ins!)
In '94, same ins, I called them everyday of my last month to let them know I might be going to deliver, they told me to stop, but I kept it up, jerks!
Back in '13, our son was high and drove into a school's gate at about 40mph. His airbags did not deploy, but by some miracle he survived with barely a scratch. He's had ups and downs but managed to get through the next few years without violating his probation. He has a wife, a child (he now views parenthood differently), a great job, is learning another language and just graduated college last month - with honors. Things can get better. Have patience and love. They have to want that success.
We have neighbors that leave their 3 dogs outside all day and night. The dogs bark constantly and have attacked people walking by. The police have been called, they arrived, the dogs attacked the police car. The neighbors keep their dogs, no apologies to those attacked by the dogs, no fines for the dogs attacking the cop car - b/c connections. We sincerely hope they get robbed or slaughtered b/c no one gives a shit about people who don't care about their animals. Sadly, these kind exist.
