My shoulders (well most of me in general) have been tensed for over a decade now. Almost got to relax them a bit at the end of 2020. That would've been nice.
Alchemist Raccoon has good vibes and seems smart, or at least capable of unorthodox solutions to problems, and Hammer Hippo because Hippos are horrifically strong if you need brute force. And now it has a hammer. Also I would ask it if the raccoon and I could ride it into battle because that would be amazing.
I think they're holding it with their thumb behind the glass? Holding it with their fingers and...thumb pad? thumb muscles? the bit of flesh between the thumb and rest of the palm.
Step Two: Ascend From Darkness!
#23 Cardboard. Hate the residue dust feeling it leaves on my hands. Always have to wash after handling it. Also more general: uncommon textures on what you're expecting. Handling food or whatever, sure I can handle wet or sticky texture, but if I'm not expecting it, like grabbing a box that had a bit of water get on it and suddenly my hand is wet? Awful. It's also why I don't like pulp and stuff in drinks.
I mean, sure, but it's more like the Dark Souls / Elden Ring type of adventure, and without any of the satisfactory payoff from actually succeeding.
Yeah but like 6 people will get $10 more on top of the giant pile they already have, so it's worth it.
It's the attempts to stay in sexy pose photo mode while desperately flailing around to stay balanced that really get me giggling. Absolutely perfect 5/7 no notes A+.
Something that is both normal to want and possible to get!
2028 - climate change then renders the Mediterranean uninhabitable for the new unexplainable tiger shark epidemic, thus solving the problem once and for all!
I always love the term "full offense." Sets the perfect tone right away.
He may have attempted a little bit of monster truck homicide, but once he saw that the water plan worked, he immediately called it off.
Alternatively, take 5 5-hour energy drinks and enter the forbidden hour of the day.

In the end, it's one of those stories where everyone kinda sucks. He seemed like a fairly awful person (lots of anger issues beforehand, all the sewer stuff, etc), and the local government basically said "we've heard that nobody in the community wants this, so we're doing it anyway because money." The concrete corpo was at least willing to pay him a lot of money to move, but they're still a big corp so they probably also suck in all the ways those usually do.
He was also a successful business owner with multiple shops in other cities, who could have just...taken a quarter million from the concrete factory and set up somewhere else, and not continue dumping his waste in a nearby ditch because the previous owners of land he bought never built their own sewer line to connect to the city. He didn't even live in the city he bulldozed. The city definitely did some of your standard government corruption BS with the concrete factory, but still.
Yeah, I think Killdozer went through a library that had kids in it for an event like just a few minutes beforehand. If they weren't evacuated, Killdozer would be known in an entirely different light.

12: Zombie movies are changed forever. So many would straight up brag about being bitten. Some would run into the horde shouting "Fake News!" while they got torn apart. At least that would be funny.

I got a couple plaques from a Ukranian couple that have a couple bits of metal stuck on them. One from an Mi-28 Havoc helicopter, one from an Su-25 Frogfoot jet, and one that's a bunch of small shreds of a T-72 tank. They came with pictures from their respective burned out hulks and scrap piles/impact zones. They make me smile when I see them.
I'm partial to the Triptych, specifically in order to make the heroes have to find all the pieces of the art, which when put together are a hidden code that unlocks the path to my vast treasures thought lost to time, thought to be able to vanquish great evils (a bottle of original siracha hot sauce, a two dollar bill, a bag of Haribo sugar-free gummy bears, and a Glock-17) all placed in a Monstrance.
I like the "When one door closes, another one opens. But aside from that, the car's in good shape!"
1: Doesn't give you brain cancer, yet! 2: You do it *very* carefully. Honestly, while I'm no writer, that second one is my favorite hand-wave for anything either super dangerous or seemingly impossible. How did they do that crazy thing? Very carefully. Or alternatively, incredibly recklessly!
