but did undermine a bit of the emotional moments like the one in this gif. I could be biased since I liked the anime and manga so much.
I noticed some expressions were a bit off, usually with the mouth or eyes being ever so slightly off. Didn't ruing the whole movie for me /1
Yeah and he worked with the writers to shorten the longer first draft of the monologue. His dedication really elevated the character.
just because it's intentional then I don't know what to tell you. People could just say Sonic looks bad on purpose too /2
If you think that adapting a cutesy futuristic video game setting into a bland modern day setting with awkward CGI is inherently good /1
A lot of the Pokemon that aren't Pikachu look ugly/awkward. Feels like a standard movie taking place irl with a few CGI creatures thrown in.
