Well you see, your foundation is plumb and your floors square with it. I was trained to be an obedient child rather than a functional adult. At my very foundation, I am motivated to please others and avoid conflict, very often to my detriment. Years of therapy, healing, and course correction have not changed this. Instead, I've learned new processes to step back and analyze the situation and my emotions before acting on them. (1/2)
