I did. I’m not disagreeing with you or anything but it’s possible, I moved out at 18, now 25 and doing pretty good for myself.

It was outside the states and Canada where I worked. Still got sued and stopped which was a shame.

As someone who works on a ship I can tell you that stuff goes wrong A LOT, and it's not down to penny pinching. Most of the time.
It could've been a number of things. Steering failure, engine/propulsion failure etc etc. Captian fucking up was probably not it.
