My husband lived in Eguisheim, and we were married in Colmar!
And now I miss my orange tabby. He loved snuggles!
I don’t disagree with you, but to say that the risk is 1/1000000 is ignoring that balloons are a major choking hazard.
1. Choking hazard if he eats a popped balloon. 2. Can lead to bowel obstruction.

Used to do this with my chonky tabby cat. He would purr happily, because he was the center of attention.
