While I've never voted for these people, The Alberta NDP were also uninterested in really fixing things for anyone other than the wealthy. When they were in power they flat out told me that "people with disabilities aren't a priority for us."
The dialysis system is even worse. The machines are all modern looking, but other than a few bells and whistles they run as they always have and basically guarantee that every patient that has to remain on it will either die from it, or quit because life with it becomes unbearable.
The more real concern though is that when almost everything in the grid is far older than it should be and far less maintained than it should be, that a large failure may result in cascading failures. Maybe worsened if some companies suddenly just don't have the money or parts to make the repairs.This wouldn't be as much of a problem without data centers taxing grids and creating a years long production backlog for natural gas turbine equipment. That might cause delays in restoring power.
Meanwhile in Alberta we're getting screwed by the province.
This is a feature of the economic system. Energy companies are motivated to run their systems into the ground until they fail completely. At that point they either get a bailout or declare bankruptcy and walk away from a mountain of debt with all their profits. This is intrinsic to the functioning of the economic system.

Have you considered that we could instead be renaming places that Trump will actually see? Like naming the trees by the windows of the Whitehouse, "Epstein Memorial Garden". Or Mar-A-Lago has all these little "lakes" on the golf course. It would be easier to identify these traps if they had names like "Trump is a rapist" and "Trump is a pedophile"
The dictionaries really need to start updating their definitions of "Christian" and "Evangelical" to match the modern usage.
