Most of my grievances are from anime tsundere that doesn't have the writing to ever evolve beyond doing it for laughs. Familiar of Zero comes to mind as the protagonists get married, then go right back to "playground" behavior instead of developing a real relationship. I don't want every story featuring a couple to turn into porn, but it feels weird when protagonists flirt for seasons and never actually do anything romantic together.
