To everyone whining about #2 the term means what it means; police having less money, tanks, and power, and having them focus their funding on the tiny amount of crime prevention/ investigation they do, and reallocating resources to places that are better suited to preventing crime, such as social programs, mental health programs, and the like. "Defund" does not mean "eliminate" or "abolish". It means give them less money as it's better spent elsewhere if you want to prevent or stop most crimes.
At the height of the Defund movement, Democrats refused to heed the people, and even did the opposite, joining Republicans in growing and expanding the totalitarian police-state, which is merging with the privatized surveillance-state. The argument goes: If their beliefs would cause violence against people who have done nothing wrong if successful, then yes. Fascism is an inherently violent ideology, that, if implemented, would involve violence against people based on their sex, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, national origin, disabilities, and so forth, and thus need to be stopped by any and all means necessary from spreading their hate, no matter how "peacefully" they do so.

Then there's the matter of people's irrational fears of vaccines coming from our intentionally devalued and sabotaged education systems, and the very real history of governments abusing people's trust in science and medicine to intentionally harm marginalized peoples, which happened well within living memory. Ok, but why? Horses are way more expensive and difficult to raise, keep, and slaughter than cattle in the kinds of numbers, and again, it would be cheaper and easier to just import a bunch of cattle from South America. If there's any plan to sell wild horse meat, it's probably with the intention to sell it as a more premium item to countries in Europe where that sort of thing is more accepted, assuming they'd even want American horse meat. It varies, same as Christian or other religious-majority countries. Albania, Jordan, sometimes Lebanon, and Türkiye (which used to have huge pride marches before the dictator reversed course) are safer places to be openly queer than parts of the American South, Poland at times, Russia, Belarus, or Hungary. Certainly safer than Christian-majority Uganda, which itself turned to violent oppression of LGBTQ+ folk thanks to propaganda campaigns from American evangelical Christians.
