Funny, I used to hear "Léon" when I was young. Maybe because I'm french.
In French it's "En parlant du loup, on lui voit la queue". Means "Speaking of the wolf, we see is tail"
I think a lot of adults don't know how to react to such situations, but it was a bad move from her, I agree. Things are better now.

The same night I was thinking "I will die" and the neighboor said "you screamed so loud I almost called the police". I was desperate.
I talk about my parents beating me at the highschool nurse. She call my mother to know if I was lying. I had a lot of marks on me. 1/2
You can live with a person during a long time not knowing she/he is crazy. You can't blame the victim.

I am 8 months pregnant, doctors said it's about 2200 calories by day. And I have 12 kilos more since the beginning. (26lbs).
I was more thinking about hygiene. But yes, if you want to sleep well, some cats are too energetic and that will not help.

Our cat learned to sit before having his food. Because he is a dumb food vacuum and will eat your fingers and everything else.

I learned that some survive by taking nutriments from an another plant next to them. They mix their roots. Very rare indeed.
We don't even have donut shops in France. Maybe in Paris but I'm not sure.
