The US Civil War only killed 94k Confederate soldiers directly, ~290k in total including disease and POWs dying in camps. That actually would be a good start to clear out the cancerous rot that is sometimes called the Republican Party.

Nazis usually are.

The Institute for Sexual Science and its leader Magnus Hirschfeld were two of the earliest victims of the Nazi regime. Why? Because they pioneered research into (among other topics) transgender issues and helped people transition. The AFAIK most famous pictures of Nazi book burning? Were from this institute when the Nazis raided it.
The OG Nazis went after trans people first too, with many of the same tactics and phrases as the current Nazis. Just to make sure nobody thinks MAGAs are original.

As you wish: The Danish King (Then Crown Prince) is in the files:
https://ekstrabladet.dk/underholdning/kongelige/danskekongelige/afsloering-kong-frederik-naevnt-flere-steder-i-epstein-filer/11081452
The Palace claims HRH Frederik have never met him which... maybe that's true. Maybe he met Epstein once. But at the very least he's indisputably in there.
But even if they didn't meet all royals are scum.

Shockingly unproblematic? No. He held both progressive and regressive ideals for his time, but let's not kid ourselves. The main thrust of his beliefs were conservative and Catholic. There's a reason he supported Franco in Spain, or that the Shire was a conservative idealised version of England that never was, to name examples. He was more complex than Rowling who's just purely evil and a hack, sure, but "shockingly"? Only if you expected him to be a Rowling precursor born in the 1890ies.

Patton was also a megalomaniac and conspiracy theorist, and before his death turned to some pretty vile antisemitic tropes, including expressing sympathy for the Nazis. He might actually be in agreement with Patton on quite a lot, even if Patton would likely have slapped the shit out of Trump for being a yellow-bellied coward (Given that Patton was slapping *soldiers* for the temerity of being shell-shocked/having PTSD).

Waterboarded in his own diapers. Tell him the out is to confess to his crimes, and acknowledge that he's the dumbest shit alive. Then, when he does so, continue waterboarding him until he dies. After that, repeat with his most important cronies.

It's also been in the making since at least around January 2021. The Democratic leadership made the critical mistake of not arresting, prosecuting, sentencing, and executing a few dozens of thousands that year. That allowed the cancer to grow to insane proportions, as we can now plainly see.

Officially? Probably because they quote the word without wanting to own it. That's a common journalistic use, same as the quotation around antisemitic.
In reality, it's very often to disown the term and make sure the outlet can signal their distance from morality so they won't be targeted by Nazis. Which, I'm guessing, is why you ask the question.

Never watched B5, but BSG (2003) also suffered from the weird changes in direction and either ret-cons or poor setups. It has amazing parts, and then parts where you question whether the writers watched their own show. And a nosedive with the ending, despite the beautiful moment between Adama and Roslin. I liked the show, it had an amazing cast, vivid imagery, and genuinely beautifully done post-apocalypse. But it also had a fair share of flaws that got more evident/compounded in S3 and S4.

That's just wrong.
...
Breitbart and The Daily Wire are also Nazi publishing houses.

It will also be told in the fossil record, and in a hypothetical future tree of life. Earlier mass extinctions have left records, ours will too.

Yeah. The historians I know are all "we have seen this movie before," or "these trends usually end up in very dark places." Plenty of pop-history or pop-polisci books have been written on it, such as How Democracies Die by Levitsky and Ziblatt (First edition came out in 2018).
Sure there are on-going debates about whether the comparison is accurate or whether we can learn something from it, but so many scholars are pointing to 50+ year trends, or how they share similarities with the 1930ies.

For a work supposed to be the story of a deity who was there and responsible, it is also shockingly bad at describing events in the past.

Er, hasn't that been a core feature of every ICE "deployment"? Metro Surge included 2000 white supremacist gang members being sent to the area to stalk and murder civilians (Which resulted in, among so many other crimes, the intentional and deliberate murder of Renee Good and Alex Pretti).

That has to be fake. It *must* be fake. The world is not good enough to give us such a grifter specimen served on a platter.

This. It's an argument for ignoring Tolkien's weird conservatism, or for literary analysis in general. It's simply not an acceptable argument when an author (Or creator/owner) is engaged in politics right now, and is actively using their clout and wealth for deeply evil political purposes. Imagine saying it about someone buying Mein Kampf in 1944 (Or Quotations of Chairman Mao during the Great Leap).

What breaks did he put on the MAGA movement? Did Biden get all the Jan6 traitors arrested? Were 43 GOP senators executed on Feb 13? When was Trump executed? How many donors to the GOP were arrested, tried, and executed?
Because Biden didn't put any real breaks on the MAGA movement. He would rather reconcile with the GOP than risk them getting in jail and executed for their very obvious terrorism and treason. Biden saw the GOP do a coup and thought that was fine; back to normal post-coup.

It took me a second to figure out. That's fucking brilliant. Also sad, but mostly brilliant.

The treaty is very clear: "[representatives, scientific staff, etc.] shall be subject only to the jurisdiction of the Contracting Party of which they are nationals", so their home law and home courts if from the same country. If two different nationals they have a dispute resolution system, but that would probably boil down to "you two countries settle which court takes it".

A despotic theocracy that, for once, is actually kinda right. They are defending themselves against a regional Nazi power and the US, and their responses are restrained compared to the attacks they suffer. Their peace offers are a mixture of humanitarianism (Israel should stop doing Nazi shit), reparations for deaths & damages, and self-serving (Toll on the Strait), The first would be doing the world a favour, the second is totally fair, and only the third is too much (EU citizen POV here).

I was taught about the Danish slave trade and the Danish colonies, but both my history teachers were pretty progressive. I don't think it was part of the standard curriculum. I don't recall ever being taught the Danish atrocities in Greenland.
So maybe Germany is the only country with a systematic, curricular way to teach children about its own atrocities.
Though looking at AfD, that German history lesson has not been as widely received as one would like, either.

I would be wary with any psychology claim that goes back to Jung (/Freud) or 1950. It might be true, it might be corroborated by later research, but it might also be entirely discredited and replaced several times over by newer research. Psychology or sociology claims that predate ~2010 should be double-checked generally because they might be sourced to some small-N study of European or N.American grad students and has failed reproducibility. Don't fall prey to arguments from phony authorities.

You can get help. Join Jewish Voice for Peace, or a de-radicalisation support group somewhere. The alternative appears to be to continue doing the work of Nazis and Zionists: Making all Jewish people collectively responsible for the crimes of the Israeli government, until the Nazis can "justify" another endlösnung and the Zionists can finally "justify" the claim that Jewish people can only be citizens of and are only safe in Israel. You know, the dual faces of the antisemitism coin.
