It has amazing parts, and then parts where you question whether the writers watched their own show. And a nosedive with the ending, despite the beautiful moment between Adama and Roslin. I liked the show, it had an amazing cast, vivid imagery, and genuinely beautifully done post-apocalypse. But it also had a fair share of flaws that got more evident/compounded in S3 and S4.

Psychology or sociology claims that predate ~2010 should be double-checked generally because they might be sourced to some small-N study of European or N.American grad students and has failed reproducibility. Don't fall prey to arguments from phony authorities.
