I took them off for this trip. I have big aluminum boxes. But I wanted to see if I could do a full camping setup without them.

I had a nice fat knobby on there. But it was hell on the highway. The shinko 705s are a nice middle ground still grippy off pavement.
going to put the battery/electronics into a vintage tin first aid kit which will live in the void.I'll keep a bit of space in there though.
haven't done a full price out. Bike was $400 and came in boxes. parts probably cost me about $2,000. I spent way more on tools though.
I fully plan on a complete build post when I finish. sometimes fresh eyes from cyberspace help to reel me back from bad ideas.

I was already 2000 miles from the last service. I planned on doing it in North Carolina. But the snow put a damper on that.

They are actually still filming. I’m gonna say probably August of next year it will be released.

Relax, its on the center stand, with no air in the forks, minus about 150lbs of engine. also the forks are the stock factory shocks.
