Hello, I'm Don. Nice to meet you! I love my wife. We used to live on Cape Cod, Then we moved to the US Virgin Islands. No, we're not rich. Regular people live here too. We make ends meet (barely). It's cheaper than Cape Cod! And FFS, play nice with the other kids. Everybody's too offended these days. Do something nice for a perfect stranger, and expect no recognition for doing so. Peace, respect, and love of one another make the world a better place.
For the entire time, I'd be thinking "please don't let this plane go down and have me survive."
People are awesome.
#49 Fucking brilliant and totally caught me off guard. Glorious bastard.
A well played and slightly altered Python reference, you glorious bastard.
If you haven't seen Shrinking, you're missing out on TV gold. Harrison, Michael, the guy who plays Roy from the show Lasso, Jason Segel, and a whole bunch of other actors that make you think "oh yeah . . . they look familiar." Great writing, great plot.
Interesting post. Thanks!
Got me. Well done.

Nice paws.
Will do. Thanks for the inspiration @astrangehop
Thankfully the cisterns on Saint Croix will be refilled. The reverse osmosis plant has hit it's capacity. Even water delivery services are limited. Shit was getting serious soon.

My friend says that there should be a feet Friday.
There are 99% of good people all over the world. This guy is proof.
Bang on appropriate track for that video!
The struggle against grime was real . . .
This made me laugh. A lot. Well done, whoever created this video.
Well, that's adorable.
If you guys like Harrison Ford, then you *must* watch Shrinking. It's awesome. He's fantastic in it. And the cast is full of famous actors and ones who are not yet household names but soon will be.
One of the best concerts I've seen in my life. And I've been to a *lot* of concerts.
But, fellow people born in the 1970s and coming of age when this song was huge, a singular concert is a once in a lifetime happening. Could be the people with whom you saw the show, could be the crowd, could be the band was extra on fire, could be you had just the right buzz, could be that a pretty girl in the crowd flirted with you. Who knows? But you can't hear well for three days and you'll never forget it.
There's no way that California would have given an occupancy permit to that crazy and amazing build without a PE's approval. All final plans need to be stamped by a PE. All I'm saying is that I hope OP has his PE stamp. It's quite an accomplishment to pass those insanely rigorous tests. I've heard (from PEs and lawyers) that it's easily ten times harder than a lawyer passing the bar exam.
Love 'em or hate 'em, MLB umpires are a bunch of really intelligent, tough, and fair glorious bastards.
And, since they're like you and I were when we were so young, they didn't give a shit. Their brother said "watch this . . . can you do this too?" And it was ON.
Just like people. I'm not saying that to be cheeky or funny. The "smarter" the animal, the somewhat nastier they can be. Humans. Chimps. Dolphins. Sperm whales. Even grizzly bears (eating their prey while they're still alive), polar bears (not finishing killing their prey so their cubs can learn). No real point here, just thinking out loud.

First time in a long time that a quote made me stop and really think. Thanks for including that, @fallibledegenerate
Your posts are fascinating, @AlphaStructural ... get your PE if you haven't already!
I like the way she created a cute word for snuggles with her dog .... "You want up up?"

This is hilarious. On the island of Saint Croix in the USVI, it's considered rude to *not* say good morning / afternoon / night. It confuses tourists when they encounter it.
Meet you on the bench with a cold one. I brought aspirin too, just in case.
That was unexpectedly hilarious.
Keep those trees between you and the moose!

Help me out. I don't get it.
