Can you all shed some light as to why or why not this would be a good idea?
So why not have a portion of the firearm sale go towards mental health screenings?
When you buy a firearm from a registered dealer, a part of that sale goes towards the NRA.
But when you buy a hunting license or hunting gear, a percentage of that purchase goes towards wildlife conservation.
I realize that some states and are underfunded and cannot provide the necessary resources for mental health screenings.
