Love can’t reach down and serve justice to the suffering and vulnerable unless it’s through people. That’s why we are all valuable. Being anti-religion puts you up against the vast majority of earth in one way or another. Most people who believe in any God are invisible anyway and are suffering as much as everybody else due to the rise of corporate and bureaucratic powers. And to be fair, my response to the picture could have been filtered from a little disdain stemming from my own experiences being persecuted and judged for what I believe in. Because of well known abuses by the corporate church people seem to forget that, like many other social groups, normal everyday Christians are persecuted and outcast as well in much of society.
I get where you’re coming from, it was really more to the tune of “it’s gonna be okay” for lack of a better expression. Yes, that plight is not mine so with that, I can see how it was taken. Didn’t meant to have or ever diminish anyone’s pain. Gives me food for thought in the future so I appreciate the rational explanation as opposed to emotionally charged insults from some others here.

Religion wounds. I don’t consider myself religious, I just try to follow Jesus. He despised religion and the religiously corrupt, that’s why they hated and killed him. My Jesus died to save, not to condemn. I believe and hope in the coming of the kingdom of Grace cause I need it as badly as the next person. I hate no one, wish justice and peace for everyone.
