I actually met this guy about 4 years ago (in Vegas). My immediate impression is this was more of a "too many substances one night, possibly on purpose, after many years of the same."
Met/hung with this guy in person in like 2023. I lived in Vegas and he did a "table read" of a buffy episode with local actors and an audience the night I met him, at a local theater. I'm sorry he passed, and he was my favorite character from buffy when I was a kid... that said it was clear nearly immediatly that Xander was a role and he was something different. Sly and mean. And he was an absolute creep to every girl there. RIP. Hope you had better days in between.
The waves he paddles into don't look anything close to what we've gotten used to for big waves. They are a small day Jaws. Was shot in Oregon and I never hear anyone talk about Cannon/Indian beach for big wave surfing.

Hate this is downvoted. There are real "head in the sand" people who read this, saw "AI" and then just started downvoting. The literal point of my post is that AI is already better at certain things than people and it's only been "live" for like 3 years. This problem isn't going away because people like OP lie and say it's not good. We have to adjust to the new world we are in or it will be worse.

Yeah no. Not sure what you are saying. I work in a big dev house and it is better than pretty much every out of college coder. This feels like a lie honestly. And saying "I'm not good at programming" while I watch it build a full lambda deployment including all the permissions and routing also feels like a lie to tell these people it'll never be good enough. You a tech bro trying to distract people from how serious this is?
I'm with everyone on the sentiment and also buzzfeed is yuck. That said, I want to disagree with OP because I worry people are not taking this seriously enough. I only use co-pilot to code as an adjecent to my job not full time dev, and it helps me get something that would take a week done in an afternoon. It is one step away from the point of telling it what I want and telling it to deploy in our AWS and just doing multiple days work in 30 minutes. This will absolutely replace people.
