In the company I work for... Ui, designers and developers work fluent in tandem. Always adjusting and advicing each other along the way.
There is rarely any good reasons to implement shitty interaction. The user experience comes first. Not much use hving a btn if nbdy finds it

Some developers are lazy and have a negative attitude. Others sees problems as challenges and want to solve them. Often finds multiple ways.
Developers with that attitude, are the ones that doesn't push themselves or the boundries of possibilities. Sad and uninspiring.
