Make no mistake, the current sitting president doesn’t speak for Americans. While there is a lot of talk about those who blindly follow, that also doesn’t represent the vast majority of Americans. We know who our true allies are and I suspect those same nations are aware that the current administration is just something to endure.
I remember reading something years ago about a Greek civilization that elders served ten years in political positions but had total immunity. After the ten years were over they were essentially tried for their crimes that were committed while “in office”. I have ZERO interest in allowing any immunity to politicians but I think we should explore the idea that politicians are investigated and tried after they leave office which would be no longer than their mandated term limit.

Universal sales tax, my dude. You spend money, you pay taxes. End of story. The more money you spend the more taxes you pay. I’m sure there are probably still ways to skirt the rules there as well but it sure as hell FEELS a lot more straight forward.

I say that’s not enough because democrats of recent haven’t been as helpful as they should be. I say we vote out every congressperson across the board. And because the next runner up won’t be much different than the current member, vote them all out too when it comes up. And if they still don’t get the memo keep voting them all out until they start paying attention. Honestly it’s the way it should have been all along.
