You can’t remove the other person’s name from the acct (this is only allowed in the case of death). But you can close it and open new one.
Not true. A joint account means that either owner has the right to withdraw funds and/or close the acct at any time.

You can’t “abort” a fetus that is not alive. Using the term “abort” in the same sentence as “miscarriage” is misleading & offensive to some.
That’s not an abortion. It’s called a d&c and is often medically necessary after a miscarriage. Not the same thing at all and not a choice.
