Actually a slice of American cheese is just about the right thickness for this scale. Though depending on who you ask it’s a hard too thick. The crazy thing is that the ISS is only about 4 slices of American cheese away.

He can have whatever he wants made, and Taylor to fit him and he can have the best photographers in the world to do a photo shoot for it would cost him like… the equivalent of a penny to ACTUALLY do all these things (I assume, I didn’t actually watch the whole thing)

To defeaud people to do well at my job. Honestly from what I’ve seen most people defraud themselves by letting their assumptions guide their actions. You try and tell people that ‘No you’re really not long distance dating Emma Watsons twin with 14 fingers’ but they will find some way to try and pay for her ‘medical bills’ so she can ‘finally come out of hiding and marry you’ (shockingly close to an actual conversation my manager had with a client with some details changed for privacy)
Up over the long term(10-20 year average) if you’re wise and diversified you can average out the losses and the wins and come out ahead. Banking went through a whole slew of regulations after 2001 with the patriot act, the 2002 SOX act, the consumer protection act in 2010, and the AMLA Act OF 2020, all of which have made banking more consumer friendly, lowered the kinds of fees that can be charged, and made things way more transparent. Anything FDIC insured (broadly speaking) will be safe. Things like high yield savings accounts, some money markets, And CD’s all have a guaranteed rate of return. It’s not a great yield, usually less than 4%, but if you end up losing that money then the whole world(or at least America) is having a REALLY bad time. I think you’re right that you shouldn’t invest anything you can’t afford to lose, because anything not insured is a risk. But at the same time, the stock market trends 1/2
