I wish my disabled relative’ autism had some positive aspect to it, but coupled with her intellectual disability, it just makes her exhausting to deal with.
Water moccasins (aka cottonmouths) *can* be kind of aggressive. If you’re around a creekbed in Central Texas, you need to be very careful. I know they aren’t likely to strike unless bothered or accidentally stepped on, but water moccasins are VERY grumpy.
I see that at Mr. Fogg’s, Sigrid gets a velvet throne—as is proper.
Well, my niece is an artist, and I’m proud of her.
In-N-Out has the best customer service ever. Their corporate office called my spouse to go over every menu item with him when he asked about allergens.
French seams are also harder to do on some fabrics than others.

Why do so many internet posts say “baby kitten”? Kittens are the correct name for baby cats.

I never was, but my brother and his two friends would have a “snack” before delivering the evening newspaper (yeah, we’re old), and they could demolish an entire loaf of bread, half a jar of peanut butter and a gallon of milk in one sitting.
It can be erased if the debt is only in the one person’s name. This is why my husband and I have always kept separate health insurance (except when he was laid off).
I don’t know what my parents paid 25+ years ago to have an overgrown palm in their very steeply sloped back yard cut down, but it had to be done from the too down, too. Palms are very heavy, so the pieces weren’t that big, either.
My mother bought an Amana in 1975 that lasted at least 25 years.
My Amana is 22 years old and still working just fine.

And unlike a lot of pro athletes, Jim Abbott was (is) a genuinely nice person. When he played, he never turned down opportunities to visit kids’ hospitals or charities if he could help it.
It still is the biggest materially if you count how much of that material actually works and can be effectively used. Russia has big stocks of aged, decrepit, functionally useless weapons.

My 90-year old mother quit smoking 42 years ago. She never smoked again, but she craved cigarettes for the better part of a decade before the cravings stopped completely. I know it’s hard to quit.
It’s not so much the protein aspect as the “soy is in this when it doesn’t have to be” aspect. Baked goods are particularly notorious.
I hate soy because my SO is allergic to it and it costs a lot of money to find him soy-free foods (aside from meat, fruit, & veggies).
