I can understand that. I also don't think highways in South Korea are anything like North American ones when there are way better ways to travel.

True, but 10% of cars in South Korea are already EV's, and that number is only growing. While in the short term it kind of sucks, it's not going to be an issue when EV's continue to grow in numbers. South Korea is getting ahead of the curve, by being proactive and putting the infrastructure in place.
I think it's a precursor to building more infrastructure around EV's.

Really, why does this not surprise anyone? Nothing was done with the breach of ethics, nothing really gets done, so why bother. There is straight up corruption in politics worldwide.
