My dad has an Allied receiver from the early 1970s that he still uses. Didn't get it at the shack tho :)
My dad worked at Radio Shack in the mid 70s to early 80s. We had a lot of scratch and dent RS stuff at home.

Once upon a time I pulled a 53 Studebaker Commander out of a barn. I was going to restore it but it was so bad, I gutted it and ended up selling it on eBay. I just couldn't afford to do it back then.
