Arkansas would pay him to go with a 1500. There’s truly no need for you to take on six or even five figure debt in this case. Also, it’s not for everyone but ROTC or service Academies. The three main service academies are very difficult to get into but again, those are the types of scores they want.

I’d just like, on behalf of the MILLIONS of progressive Texans, to point out that we exist, and that I wish this site didn’t shit on us for being born in a gerrymandered as fuck State all the time. It’s not that federal grand juries are usually biased. They are pulled from the citizenry like all other juries. It’s just that the proof required at the grand jury stage is only probable cause that a crime committed. You are absolutely right it is rare that the government can’t even reach that low level of proof. Usually it is taken as a sign not to prosecute the case. But not with these bozos.

Adverse possession is definitely a thing, but not automatic. Sounds like he’s doing it right tho. You have to hold out to the world that you are possessing it, and, in Texas and many other states, pay the property taxes for some period of time. I think five years in Texas.
