Yeah, I'm sorry for the delays. I got pretty sick and wasn't able to go on my computer and work for a couple days which really set me back.

The score that's displayed at the top of your screen before you start a run is your high-score!
Not intentionally. Under poorer connections, an ad would try to load before the game started, but wouldn't be shown until during the game.
