His biggest upset was that NO-ONE had heard of him. But thats because he A) never registered as a hero before the show and B) King.
Not really. He's a self-described hero for fun. He doesnt give a toss about the fame or fortune, he enjoys saving lives and stopping threats
Outside of context though, it looks like a gaggle of screaming apes with 10IQ between them. That they have to share.

When explained without the full context, yes, absolutely. Within the confines of the show, it makes a lot more sense and slots more neatly
